The Commons Social Change Library - Brunswick Daily

Social Movements exist to improve our world. The purpose and mission of these movements may vary across organisations, countries, and communities but every cause needs to collectively learn and organise its actions to ensure impact and change.

The Commons Social Change Library knows this. Brunswick Daily met with local resident and Director, Holly Hammond, to learn more about this Australian organisation that brings together content and resources from all over the world.

The goal?

Holly believes The Commons Library exists to “make activism smarter and stronger by gathering, curating, and distributing collective wisdom for social change”.

Since 2019, their user-friendly website offers free access to materials in a wide range of formats to expand the skills of those interested in changing the world

Within their portal, The Commons Library caters for a wide variety of movements. Their material can fit the purpose of social campaigns in their inception process to those willing to transition from a simple to a more complex structure as well as to those that are well established but can upskill specific areas of their organisations.

To learn more, explore The Commons Library 5 year journey, subscribe to their newsletter, or support the cause by donating.
